Brown fused alumina is made by bauxite and coke (anthracite) at high temperature in electric arc furnace. If the abrasive tools are made of brown fused alumina, they are applicative in abrasive metals with high tensile stress, such as various general steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze, etc., and can also be used to manufacture advanced refractory materials. Brown fused alumina has the characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low linear expansion coefficient, and corrosion resistance. After practical verification by dozens of refractory production enterprises, this product has the characteristics of no detonation, no pulverization, and no cracking etc. during the application process.
