Industrial uses
Corundum insulation materials, such as corundum lightweight bricks, corundum hollow balls and fiber products, are widely used in various high-temperature furnace walls and furnace tops, which are both resistant to high temperature and insulated. The brown corundum grain size sand is made of artificially selected brown corundum blocks, which are processed by rollers, ball mills, Bamak and other equipment. The grain size is mainly used for polishing, grinding, industrial grinding and so on. In recent years, it has been widely used in iron hook castables, non-foamed mud, corundum bricks, prefabricated components, permeable bricks, ladle bricks, magnesium aluminum carbon bricks and other refractory materials. It is also commonly used in refractory materials of aggregate and fine powder. Its advantages are high fire resistance, strong wear resistance, corrosion resistance, corrosion resistance, large volume density and high alumina content. It is mainly used in high alumina and alumina systems. The product also has high load softening temperature and high temperature volume stability. However, the impurities of brown corundum determine the life of the product during use. Since the impurities have not been completely removed during the smelting process, brown corundum also contains sub-crystalline phases such as calcium hexaaluminate, plagioclase, spinel, rutile, as well as glass phase, ferroalloy and solid solution.
